Dr Berna Kim – Orthodontist

Dr Berna Kim is an Australasian Orthodontic Board certified specialist. She grew up on the sunny Gold Coast and attended Trinity Lutheran High School. After completing her Bachelor in Dental Science with Honours from The University of Queensland, she practised general dentistry for four years before embarking on her specialist training to obtain her Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry at The University of Adelaide.

Dr Kim’s work is recognised by awards from the Australian Society of Orthodontics and the Australasian Begg Society of Orthodontics. Committed to providing the best care possible for all her patients, Dr Kim was also awarded The Australasian Orthodontic Board’s Postgraduate Clinical Award.

In addition to her private practice work, Dr Kim consults at the Adelaide Dental Hospital and teaches undergraduate dental students at The University of Adelaide.

Lucy

Lucy has worked in the health industry for over 10 years and recently made the switch from general dentistry to orthodontics. Lucy loves seeing patients through to the end of their treatment when they achieve their perfect smile. In her spare time Lucy enjoys being creative - making shoes and jewellery. Having had braces as a teenager, Lucy is happy to answer any queries you may have about braces!

Jess

Jess finished her traineeship in Dental Assisting through TAFE SA and recently completed her placement at the Adelaide Dental Hospital. Jess has experience in both general dentistry and orthodontics. Having had orthodontic treatment within the last 2 years herself, Jess can easily relate to our patients going through the same process. In her free time Jess enjoys taking part in a volunteer program for her church.

 

Nikki

Nikki is our dental nurse at the Loxton practice. Having had braces as an adult, Nikki was interested in orthodontics and took on the challenge of becoming an orthodontic nurse this year. She has become a valuable asset to our team. Nikki lives locally in Loxton with her husband and two boys.
